Katiana Brancato

Katiana Brancato is a certified personal trainer with IIFT, internationally accredited remedial sports massage practitioner, Manual lymphatic drainage massage therapist and advanced reflexologist.

She has been training since the age of 14 and started her career as a personal trainer at the age of 18. From 2013 to 2015 Katiana worked for Marco Rossi, owner of “Get Power Walking” as a group boot camp instructor for “Get Power Walking” at SuperSport Park, Centurion.

In November 2015 Katiana launched her own business KAT-FIT. This initiative allows customers to reach their health goals in the comfort of their surroundings whether at home or in the office environment, effectively bringing the gym to the client. Fitness and wellbeing have always been her passion.

Katiana’s primary goal is uplift the lives of her clients and motivates them to achieve a new level of wellness. She is involved with the Rossi Classic Fitness events which give fitness athletes the opportunity to shine at a top class glamorous event.

Katiana placed 2nd in the Miss Bikini division at her first fitness competition at the Rand Show Fitness event in April 2015.

Her hobbies include long and thrilling outdoor adventures, fire dancing and enjoying growing and preparing beautiful fresh organic meals. Katiana believes in living green, taking good care of your body by nourishing it with earth has grown nutrients and taking care of the Mind, Body, and Spirit.

Nerisha Balkaran

Nerisha Balkaran is originally from the friendly city of Port Elizabeth. Her qualifications include ND Journalism, Human Resources Management, and Project Management and are a qualified Indian Classical Dancer with extensive experience in other genres including Bollywood, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Pole Dancing and Fire Dancing. She graduated from Geetanjali Academy of the Arts, where she received accolades for Most Dedicated Dancer and Best Dancer.

She was the co-founder of her own company called Triya Dance Company (PE based), and performed at many cultural, corporate and government events, and participated in many dance festivals namely PE Harbour festival, Splash festival, PE Opera House Dance Festival, and the Grahamstown Eisteddfod. She also competed at the National Pole Trix Competition 2016 where she received a gold medal for her performance. Some of the highlights of her dancing career was performing for and meeting Nelson Mandela, and traveling to Chennai, India in 2005 to study dance over a period of 3 months.

Since relocating to Johannesburg in 2014 she joined Oriental Fire Entertainment as a professional dancer and has also been pursuing an acting career through Just You Model and Artist Management. She has had the opportunity of working with some local celebrities such as Carlo McFarlane, Danine Naidoo, and Christopher Japhta. As a dancer, she felt that fitness is a vital aspect for all dancers, and decided to pursue a career in the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer with the well-known company Kat Fit Functional Training.
